Park Guidelines – Keeping Your Stay Safe and Enjoyable
At Nicholson River Holiday Park, we want everyone to enjoy a relaxed, safe, and respectful stay. These guidelines help ensure the comfort and wellbeing of all guests.
By staying with us, you agree to follow these conditions.
Arrivals, Departures
& Visitor Info
Check-In & Check-Out
We want to make your stay as smooth as possible.
Check-in time is from 2:00pm onwards, allowing us time to ensure your site or cabin is clean and ready for your arrival.
On the day of departure, we kindly ask that you check out by 10:00am, so we can prepare for the next guests. If you need a late check-out, feel free to chat with reception — we’ll do our best to accommodate where possible.
Visitor Information
Planning to have friends or family visit during your stay? All visitors must be signed in at reception before entering the park — no exceptions. This helps us keep the park safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Noise / Alcohol
So everyone can enjoy their time at Nicholson River quiet time is between 10:30pm & 8:00am

Offensive or loutish behaviour will not be tolerated offenders and family will be immediately evicted, with NO REFUND.

Persons are not to interfere with the reasonable peace, comfort or privacy of neighbours.
Staying Safe & Comfortable at the Park
Driving & Bike Safety
For everyone’s safety, please drive at walking pace (max. 8kph) while inside the park. With kids playing and guests walking throughout the grounds, it’s important to stay alert and slow.
If you're bringing bikes, that's great! We love seeing guests exploring the park on two wheels. Just remember:

Helmets must be worn at all times

Bike riding is permitted during daylight hours only — no riding after dark, please.
Pool Use
Our in-ground swimming pool is open daily from 8:00am to 8:00pm for all guests to enjoy.
To keep things fun and safe:

No running, jumping, or bombing in the pool area

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times
Pets
Nicholson River Holiday Park is pet friendly, and we love seeing your furry friends enjoying the outdoors with you. To ensure everyone’s comfort:

Pets are not permitted in cabins

Please keep pets on a short lead at all times

Be a considerate neighbour and clean up after your pet
BBQ Areas & Campfires
We offer free BBQ facilities for all guests to enjoy — perfect for casual meals with a view. Shared BBQ areas, including those near the rotunda, are available until 10:00pm each evening.
Campfires are permitted only when local fire bans are not in place. Fires must be contained in designated fire pits or fire bins, and we ask that you never leave them unattended.
Safety, Supervision & Shared Responsibility
Children & Supervision
For everyone’s safety, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult when using shared facilities such as the pool, amenities, and recreation room. After dark, children must remain under adult supervision at all times. Parents and guardians are responsible for their children’s behaviour and wellbeing throughout the park.
Emergency Information
Emergency evacuation plans are displayed around the park and inside all cabins. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the closest exit and procedures when you arrive.
Personal Responsibility & Park Use
Guests use all park facilities at their own risk. Nicholson River Holiday Park is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal items or equipment.
Agreement to Rules
By entering and staying in the park, all guests agree to follow these guidelines. Failure to do so may result in immediate eviction without refund.
