Dog Policy & Owner Agreement
We’re proud to offer pet-friendly accommodation here at Nicholson River Holiday Park – just a short drive from Lakes Entrance and Bairnsdale. We know dogs are part of the family, and we want your stay to be as enjoyable for them as it is for you.
To make sure everyone has a safe and relaxed experience, we ask all dog owners to follow a few simple rules during their stay.
Before You Book
We’re a pet-friendly park, but all pets must be pre-approved before booking.
Please call us directly to discuss your dog before making a reservation.
Approval is at the Park Manager’s discretion and may be withdrawn at any time.
To keep things simple and manageable for all, only one dog is permitted per site, unless explicitly approved by management.
Please note: Dogs are not allowed in any cabins, cottages, or ensuite sites under any circumstances. We understand your dog may be part of the family, but to maintain high cleanliness standards and for the comfort of all guests, these accommodations remain pet-free.
Dog Friendly Stay Rules
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests (two and four-legged), dog owners agree to the following conditions:

Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 2 metres at all times while outside your van or tent.

Dogs must never be left unattended, including inside vans or tents.

Dogs are not allowed in any indoor communal spaces – including pool areas, games room, amenities, camp kitchen, playgrounds, or reception.

Please do not wash dogs or their bedding in the park’s facilities.

You must clean up after your pet immediately and dispose of waste in a sealed plastic bag.

Owners are 100% responsible for any damage, disturbance, or injuries caused by their dog.

Excessive barking, aggressive behaviour, or complaints from other guests may result in immediate eviction – no refunds will be issued.

On Arrival

All dog owners must sign the Dog Policy Agreement at check-in.

A credit card will be held on file in lieu of a bond for the duration of your stay. Charges may apply if your site requires cleaning or repairs due to your pet.
